Paint Pottery
You can paint pottery by selecting from a wide array of pieces to decorate as your own. It is simple!

• Choose a piece to paint from our wide selection of shapes and sizes
           
• Use our colors, brushes, stamps and design tools to create your masterpiece
• We glaze and fire your piece
• You pick up your finished piece in about a week
           

Mosaic
Mosaic is using small colored materials like tiles and stones to create a decorative pattern.

• Choose a piece to decorate from our selection of shapes and sizes
• Use colored tiles and gemstones to create a pattern on your piece
• We grout your design
• You pick up your finished piece in about a week
      

Glass Slumping
Starting in May, Work of Art will be offering glass art to customers! Please note that all customers interested in glass slumping must take a intro class at the studio - multiple classes are on our monthly schedule. After completing the intro class, you are free to walk-in and work with glass anytime!

Glass slumping is a process that requires 2 firings:

• Choose a flat piece of "blank" glass to decorate
• Use colored glass and tools to decorate your piece of glass
• We will fire your piece to "fuse" the glass - this turns your design into a solid, flat piece of decorated glass
• We fire your piece a second time to "slump" the glass - basically, the glass "slumps" to fit the shape of a mold
• Your finished piece of glass is no longer flat - it is a 3-D shape (bowl, platter, etc.)
• You pick up your finished piece in about 2 weeks

• You don't need a reservation... but if you are a planner, call ahead to reserve a table, schedule a party, or plan a group event
• The cost to create at Work of Art is simple - you pay a studio fee plus you purchase the piece you would like to paint or mosaic
  • Studio fees are $9 per adult or $7 per child (12 and under) for the entire day.! Our studio fee includes instruction, supplies (colors, brushes, etc.), glazing, firing and all of the time needed to make your work of art. 
  • A wide array of ceramic pieces are available for you to decorate, ranging in price from $2 to $30. Your imagination will run wild as you browse our selection of pieces... plates, mugs, candle holders, picture frames, banks... the list goes on and on
• Your finished pottery piece is extremely functional - it's safe for eating!
